Four Mondays for Beginners and Intermediates
December 5, 12, 19 & 26
Hustle is the partner dance that originated in the 1970s in NYC and the metropolitan cities of the United States. It is designed to be dynamic and flashy. Its core steps are not too complicated, and its requirement for motion and agility make this a perfect dance for club music and parties. This four-week series will contain two two tracks—one for beginners to get them social dancing and one for intermediates who already have experience to develop their proficiency. Hustle is an essential part of your social dance repertoire.
Important Information
We strive to balance providing a safe environment while returning to a normal social setting. The following policy is subject to change at any time in the event of new guidance issued by the CDC, state, or local governments. By attending any of our classes/privates/events, you agree to this health policy. Effective January 1, 2024:

Common Sense Health: 1) If you are not feeling well, please do not come to dance class. 2) If you've been in a high-density environment (plane, wedding, conference), it would be appreciated if you took a home-COVID test before your class.

Health Cooperation: Students will cooperate with any health requests from Erik Novoa, guest instructor, or staff (e.g., using hand sanitizer, using a mask, stepping outside to address a health issue, etc.).

Registration: You must pre-register for these classes (see below). We will not be touching credit cards or cash for these classes.
Schedule
7:15pm: Check-in for 1st Class
During our check-in process we will take your temperature, have you sign a waiver (if this is your first time at the studio), answer some health questions, wash your hands, and enter the studio. Our doors will remain closed once the class begins. Please bring your own water.
7:30pm: Hustle for Beginners (Week 1)
Your Hustle journey begins with this class. We will explore the basic timing of the dance and some of foundational patterns like the hesitation step, the wheel, and the crossbody.
There will be 15 minutes of social dancing after this class.
8:45pm: Hustle for Intermediates (Week 1)
This week will use an intermediate pattern to explore challenging movement.
Note: If you are an intermediate dancer (already have taken a beginner series with Erik), you must also take the beginner class to attend the Intermediate class. If you are a beginner, you should only take the "Hustle for Beginners" class.
9:45pm - 10:00pm: Social Dancing
Enjoy some time dancing and socializing! This is where the magic happens. The more you dance, the better your dance will become.

Cost
Pre-Registration: All students must pre-register for all 4 weeks to attend or contact Erik for accommodations.
Check In: All students must check-in within 48 hours of their class to answer health questions.
For Beginners:
$60: by Sunday, Nov. 20 ($15 per week)
$70: by Friday, Dec. 2 ($17.50 per week)
$80: Saturday, Dec 3 and after ($20 per week)
For Intermediates (includes beginner class which is required to take the Intermediate class):
$120: by Sunday, Nov. 20 ($30 per week)
$140: by Friday, Dec. 2 ($35 per week)
$160: Saturday, Dec 3 and after ($40 per week)
Weekly Check-in
Please check in for each week within 48 hours of the class by using the link to respond to our health questions. Please take a home COVID test if you respond "yes" to any of the health questions, and email a picture of the result to me. Please complete the check-in process by 2pm of the class date.

Dance Dimensions is located on Route-1 (Cross Street) in the same shopping area as these other establishments: Brain Balance, Dogs Gone Smart, and Goodwill.
Parking Area
There is plenty of parking adjacent to Dance Dimensions. The parking area is well lit and marked. Please park closer to the entrance because that will place you closer to the studio entrance.
