When I first saw Dario around 2022, he was just starting in his West Coast Swing journey. Since then, he has developed his social dancing and Jack & Jill skills and started placing or winning almost every event he attended. In the span of a few years, he has reached the All-Star division and has become one of the most entertaining dancers to watch. I am personally impressed with his musicality and lyrical wit—creating unique movement and styling specific to the song. I'm looking forward to having him give some insights on how to approach West Coast Swing from a youthful and contemporary perspective.

Common Sense Health: If you are not feeling well, please do not come to dance class.

Health Cooperation: Students will cooperate with any health requests from Erik Novoa, guest instructor, or staff (e.g., using hand sanitizer, using a mask, stepping outside to address a health issue, etc.).

Registration: You must pre-register for these classes (see below). We do not have the staff to process credit cards or cash on-site for these classes.

Private Lessons with Dario
Please register for your private below. Your registration only covers the floor fee ($25). Students will pay Dario for the private lesson directly ($75 for 55 min).

4:00pm - Workshop 1: Finding the Vibe (Adv Beg)
We’ll work through what to do when the music first begins. How do we adjust to tempo, genre, and connect with our partner? A good opening sets the dance up for success!
5:00pm - Workshop 2: Individual/Together Musicality (Adv Beg)
After we’ve found our groove, we want to keep it throughout the dance. Let’s focus on adding style and accenting the music within our basics.
6:00pm - Dinner Break (1 hour)
Dinner will be provided. However, feel free to contribute to our community table (let me know if you're brining anything).
7:00pm - Workshop 3: Creating Moments (Adv Beg)
To complete the recipe for a killer dance, we have to hit those big moments! How can we express ourselves while staying attached to musical phrasing? We’ll use a reliable formula where we’ll dance some patterns, then stop and play.
8:00-11:00pm - West Coast Swing Dance Party
Dance for fun or try what you learned. You're going to have a great time!

Your Instructor: Dario Haxhia
Dario was introduced to West Coast Swing in 2022 and never looked back. Born and raised in New York City, he’s currently the youngest leader competing in the all-star division at 20 years old. He is an active instructor, judge, and rising star routine competitor, best known for the personality, musicality, and goofiness he brings to the floor.

Dance Dimensions is located on Route-1 (Cross Street) in the same shopping area as these other establishments: Brain Balance, Dogs Gone Smart, and Goodwill.
Parking Area
There is plenty of parking adjacent to Dance Dimensions. The parking area is well lit and marked. Please park closer to the entrance because that will place you closer to the studio entrance.
