The
Hustle & West Coast Swing performance
was so much fun that we had to celebrate
our achievement at the Black Bear Saloon
in South Norwalk.

begin to tell you how proud I am of the
25 Intermediate Hustle and West Coast
Swing classes for their amazing
performance at Dance Dimension's
Choreographer's Showcase.

West
Coast Swing has been on fire this month.
It started with DJ John Festa and will
conclude this month with both
Intermediate classes performing in Dance
Dimension's Choreographer's Showcase
this Friday.

Anna and
I had the honor of teaching the beginner
East Coast Swing lesson for
Big Bad Voodoo Daddy at Midsummer Night
Swing on Wed, July 22, 2009.
We started with about 80 people and
finished with about 300. By the
time the band started, there were over
3000 people in Lincoln Center's Damrosch
Park. It was amazing!

Beginners (studio B)
Student teachers will guide you through the basic
steps & timing (Hesitation, Wheel, Underarm, Cross-body,
Open Throw-out, Under the Bridge)
Intermediate (studio A)
Erik will teach you the wrap, shadow, 1 1/2 turn and
double outside turns, Las Vegas & New York walks.
*Week 1
will always be combined so that Beginners can meet the
entire community & Intermediate can re-enforce their
basics. |

Advanced (studio A)
Erik will teach a combination with Intermediate
vocabulary, combined with arm styling, syncopations and
embellishments. |

Dance event of the summer is ready for your registration!
This means, you can sign
up to be at the "SwingShoes" table.
So far, 2 hotels are at
full capacity for this event. It's going to be huge -
which means that there will be plenty of people for you to dance
with.

discounts, no lines at the door, no contest meetings, and the
ability to maximize your fun-time at the event.

Arrive 7:15 for class at 7:30pm
Arrive at 8:15 for class at 8:30pm
Please arrive 15 minutes
early for your classes so you can enjoy some food, refreshments,
change into your dance shoes and warm up for class.
