Dear Dancers,
 July
has turned out to be very exciting. The WCS & Hustle classes will
be participating in small show hosted by the Dance Dimensions studio on
Fri, July 31. This is mostly for fun and a way to finalize the
choreography on which they've been practicing.
 Anna
and I are heading into NYC this Wednesday to teach the beginner East
Coast Swing lesson for Big Bad Voodoo Daddy at Midsummer Night Swing.
Maybe we'll see some of you there.
 If
you want to learn some of the West Coast Swing choreography that we're
doing in the show, we will be teaching it at Smiths Dancing School this
Friday. It's not that hard, it's a ton of fun, and we already have
review videos (for attendees only). We will also be teaching our
"Crash Course" for newcomers.

2 (9 people were completely new to
our community). Overall, 61 people
enjoyed the night, which included the
legendary DJ, John Festa.

working on "Poker Face" in the
intermediate WCS Class. It was a
great learning experience and one of our
most successful months ever. There are

Dance event of the summer is ready for your registration!
This means, you can
sign up to be at the "SwingShoes" table.
So far, 2 hotels are at
full capacity for this event. It's going to be huge -
which means that there will be plenty of people for you to dance
with.
Pre-registration means
discounts, no lines at the door, no contest meetings, and the
ability to maximize your fun-time at the event.

Dance
Dimensions is hosting a Choreographer's Showcase on Friday, July
31 for their studio and has invited our Intermediate Hustle &
West Coast Swing classes to perform what they have been learning
in class.
The Hustle Class will
finalize their choreography this Week.
The West Coast Swing
class will continue polishing their P.Y.T routine.
How to Participate:
#1 - You must be in the Intermediate class and already have
taken most of this month's classes (duh!)
#2 - Indicate (send me
an email) that you are available on Sunday, July 26 for a 2 hour
rehearsal (6-8pm) to finalize blocking.
#3 - Be available to the
performance on Fri, July 31. Call for the show will be
announced in class.
**Partnerships will be
established by Anna and me during the Sunday Rehearsal.
