Choreography Part I - The Structure
Level: Adv Beg - Intermediate

This choreography is possibly one of the best ways to perfect basic movement, embellish simple patterns and add musicality to your dance.  This class will give you the structure of the choreography.   The movements will be easy enough for a beginner.  The embellishments and musicality will keep you challenged.  This class will probably get you through the first Verse of the song.

Attendees will also be given access to the link for the review video.

Choreography Part II - Finalizing & Polish
Level: Adv Beg - Intermediate

We will continue with the P.Y.T. choreography which was started in the Part I.  We will teach you the chorus of the song and begin to add musicality to the entire routine.  There is no better feeling than becoming one with a song and "owning" a movements that fit perfectly to a piece of music.

* Requirements: You must take Part I in order to take Part II (it's just impossible to catch up if you miss the first part).

Whips with Sprinkles
Level: Adv Beg

This class will be an exploration of one of the most important movements in WCS, the Whip.  We'll change their structure, ways into and way out out of the whip so that by the end of class you can always use your whip most effectively & creatively.

Erik Novoa has been dancing for 20 years, starting with ballet and continuing through jazz, modern dance, musical theatre, tap and, finally in 1998, West Coast Swing. In the years following, he soared through the rankings and has been a top-10 finalist in the US Open three times.  Two years after starting West Coast Swing, he also won the national championships for Hustle.  He is currently one of the major torches of both dances in the Northeast and in 2006 received the "Best of the Gold Coast" award for Best Way to Get in Step.  Erik has an inspiring dance style and a standout teaching ability which you won't want to miss.

Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Anna Brady combines the discipline of classical ballet with the creativity of partner dancing.  She trained and performed in both classical and modern styles and also competed in ballroom/latin dance while at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Anna has recently performed with Erik Novoa in contemporary ballet pieces "Ordinary Day" (Choreographed by Erik & Anna) and "The Player" (Choreographed by Anna).  She is known throughout the northeast for her "Spins, Turns & Technique" classes for partner dancing. 

Anna and Erik most recently placed 2nd in the Advanced Jack & Jill at the International Hustle & Salsa Competition 2009 and were featured in the Saturday night dinner show.
